It may seem like boasting (it is probably) but we get a great deal of praise from our customers about our plants. So if you would like a reference (or five) take a look here where you can see some of our customers king words about our hedging plants, standard trees and our soft fruit bushes and fruit trees.

Hi Julian,
BEECH HEDGING
the hundred or so sticks I planted last November are doing well - none of them have died which I am amazed at. We cut back sideshoots in early spring and will do so again this winter as you suggested. You also mentioned clipping to a tapered shape annually after flowering although I have not seen any evidence of anything I’d recognise as flowering. Should I go ahead and shape now anyway ?
cheers
Eddie

Thanks Eddie - delighted your beech hedge plants are growing for you. I would be inclined to leave them now until the leaves have gone brown. Then gently shorten the side branches and maybe take 1-2″ off the top. Leave the lower branches wider than the higher ones so the hedge (when viewed from the side) takes on the shape on an “A” with a flat top…..
Best
Julian
